Dear Sharon & Claude,
I think this has been a real shock for all of us. I am thinking of you both everday and I keep hoping for a good recovery prognosis. Keep me posted. I love you guys.

I too am shocked and saddened to hear the news about Claude and he's in my prayers! A big hug to Sharon and love, Barbara Campbell
ReplyDeleteSharon and Claude
ReplyDeleteI have known and loved you both for almost half the years I've been in this business. We've talked, partied and laughed together for more than a decade. When in doubt I've called; when there was extra booze we've shared, when I look forward to the shows we've always done together, I'm impatient for you to be there again. Both of you are integral parts of the enjoyment I've had in being a dealer. I need you to be there. If putting the right thoughts in the ozone matters, I'm right there. Come back, Claude. We need you both.
Strength, Sharon. Call on me.

Does anyone remember the 1848 house in Ohio?
ReplyDeleteWe missed seeing them as an operating daily business. Feel bad for Claude's health problems, of course. It's just so sad to see that quality antique sales are show-only. (where prices are jacked by so many)
ReplyDeleteLet us all try to focus on Claudes health issues right now. Antique price should be the least of our worried at this time.
ReplyDeleteDear Sharon and Claude: So sorry to hear the news. Stay strong, and take solace in knowing the huge numbers of friends out here sending thoughts and prayers. Anything I can do Sharon, please don't hesitate. Hope to see you both soon. Dan
ReplyDeleteDear Sharon and Claude,
ReplyDeleteWe will be missing you so much at this year's HEART OF COUNTRY, and will be thinking of you always. I know how strong you are Sharon, and you will gain even more strength from all of us who are supporting you from afar. I found this adorable picture of you both that I took at the show last year, when I told you that you looked like the "poster couple" for happy antique dealers! I will ask Sheridan to post it on the blog site so everyone can see your smiling faces. As I told you, we will certainly plan to see you in your booth in 2011 and will keep you in our hearts until then!
Fondly,
Susan
